Biography

Jinling Wang is an Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales, specializing in Civil Environmental Engineering. She obtained her Ph.D. from Curtin University of Technology in August 1999, after completing her M.Sc. and B.Sc. at Wuhan Technical University of Surveying & Mapping. Her research interests focus on Geospatial Mapping, Global Satellite Systems (GNSS), Inertial Systems (INS), and multi-sensor integration techniques using technologies such as Vision, LiDAR, Radar, GNSS, INS, and UWB. Professor Wang has supervised 22 Ph.D. and 6 Master’s research students, with several students winning prestigious international awards. She is recognized as one of the world’s top scientists in her field, having been repeatedly named among Australia’s research leaders in radar and positioning. Her teaching is highly rated, with course evaluations averaging 90%, demonstrating her enthusiasm and effectiveness as an educator. Professor Wang teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses related to geospatial technology and modern geodesy applications.
