Joachim joined the Media & Communication program at the University of Western Australia in 2024. He started working in the university sector in 2008 as a post-production specialist at the School of Film & TV at Curtin University. From 2019 to 2023, he served as a lecturer at the SAE Creative Media Institute. Joachim completed a BA in Media & Communication with First Class Honours at Curtin University, followed by a Master of Creative Arts.
