Biography

Joanne Sneddon is an Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia in the UWA Business School and Co-Director of the UWA Centre for Human Cultural Values. She obtained her PhD from UWA in 2009, focusing on the factors influencing the adoption and implementation of new technologies in the Australian wool industry. Her extensive research includes measuring human values and their effects on consumer pro-social behavior in various contexts. She has collaborated on several projects exploring children's environmental learning and the perception of values concerning non-human entities. Joanne's work has received recognition, including numerous external and internal funding awards aimed at understanding the impact of values on consumer behavior and ethical marketing.
