Dr. Jodi Daniel

Biography

Jodi Daniel is an adjunct faculty member at the Yale School of Medicine, bringing a unique understanding of the digital health market and cutting-edge health innovation. She has extensive experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, remote monitoring tools, electronic health records, mobile health applications, digital therapeutics, health data platforms, and data analytics tools. As a prominent policymaker, Jodi has literally written rules that govern data use in digital health, including HIPAA and health interoperability rules. She has developed policies in collaboration with several federal agencies, including the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Food and Drug Administration, and the Federal Trade Commission. In addition to advising innovative products and services, Jodi advocates for clients in seeking policy changes with regulators and serves as a thought leader in digital health and health data policy.
