Biography

Jodi Tuck is an Assistant Professor at McGill University's Ingram School of Nursing, having joined the faculty in 2012. Her areas of expertise include maternal child health and global health. Jodi teaches at both undergraduate and graduate levels within the Global Health Studies focus of the master's program. She also serves as the co-chair of the Global Health Committee at the Ingram School of Nursing. Jodi is certified by the Canadian Nursing Association in Perinatal Nursing and has training as a doula as well as a neonatal resuscitation instructor. Prior to her full-time role at McGill, she worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Birthing Centre of the Jewish General Hospital. In 2011, she was awarded the “Prix Relève” by the Ordre régional des infirmières et infirmiers de Montréal/Laval (ORIIML). Jodi completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University with a focus on Biology and a minor in Psychology as well as courses in International Justice and Human Rights. She also holds a Master of Science (Applied) degree from McGill University in Nursing.
