Joe S. Devinny is the Joe S. Devinny Professor Emeritus at the University of Southern California's Viterbi School of Engineering. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in 1969, followed by a Master of Science in Chemistry from Oregon in 1971, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering Science from Caltech in 1975.
