Biography

Joe Khan is a partner at Curtin & Heefner and a renowned trial and appellate attorney with substantial experience in both prosecuting and defending civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts. His efforts have led to the successful drafting of Pennsylvania's used car Lemon Law and policy reforms related to Fair Chance and Equal Pay hiring, all enacted on a bipartisan basis. Mr. Khan previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, resolving high-stakes matters and leading historic corruption probes in cities like Allentown and Reading. He began his career prosecuting sexual assault, child abuse, and domestic violence cases at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, with his work and commentary featured in national and local media. An alumnus of Swarthmore College and the University of Chicago Law School, Mr. Khan is actively involved in nonprofit boards and served on the Pennsylvania Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs.
