Biography

Joël Berger is a senior researcher at the University of Bern's Institute of Sociology, where he has been working since 2019. He obtained a Master's degree from the University of Bern in 2011 and completed his Ph.D. at ETH Zurich in 2015, focusing on competition and cooperation. Following his doctoral studies, he held postdoctoral researcher positions at universities in Groningen, Utrecht, and Zurich.
