Biography

Joel B. Karlinsky, MD, is a Professor at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine in the Department of Medicine, specializing in Pulmonary, Allergy, Sleep & Critical Care Medicine. He obtained his MD from Tufts University and has further education from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research interests focus on Gulf War health effects and health services, as well as general pulmonary medicine and critical care. Additionally, he has contributed as an editor for Baum’s Textbook of Pulmonary Medicine. Alongside his professional work, he is a member of the Boston University Pulmonary Center.
