Biography

Johan Kruger qualified with an MD in South Africa in 1985 and later received a Master's degree in Medicine specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has extensive experience practicing at Johannesburg Park Lane Hospital, which is recognized as the largest female hospital in the Southern Hemisphere. Dr. Kruger worked alongside prominent figures in the field, including Dr. J. Van der Wat, a world leader in laparoscopic endometriosis treatment, for a decade. He was the first in South Africa to perform thermo-ablation in obstetrics and gynecology and has experience with robot-assisted laparoscopic surgeries. Upon moving to Canada in 2000, he earned additional qualifications, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Kruger is currently involved in clinical practice in Moose Jaw, focusing on vaginal pelvic floor surgery, urogynecology, and laparoscopic surgery, and offers techniques such as operative hysteroscopy and office colposcopy.
