Biography

Johan Linton is an Associate Professor in Architectural Theory and Method at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Engineering Physics and a Master's Degree in Architecture. Linton has authored a dissertation on Le Corbusier's Ville Radieuse project and has published numerous texts examining various periods in the history of architecture, including Swedish contemporary architecture. He is a founding member of the Swedish cultural review Arche, where he is responsible for the design content of architecture issues published since March 2002. In addition to his academic contributions, Linton runs his own artist studio in Gothenburg and has received awards for his scientific and artistic work.
