Dr. Johan Unge

Biography

Johan Unge is a staff scientist at Umeå University specializing in MicroED development and collaborative research facility support. He is involved in enhancing MicroED services and has contributed to the development of software for automated data processing in MicroED applications. His efforts include creating software to facilitate the use of electron microscopes, enhancing the processes related to beam center tracking and optimizing image quality. As part of his role, he actively collaborates with research groups, notably within Linda Sandblad's laboratory, to push forward the frontiers of micro-electron diffraction techniques. Unge's work is critical for advancing the methodologies that enable the exploration of materials at the molecular level, fostering a supportive environment for research innovation.
