Biography

Johann Anselm Steiger is a professor at the University of Hamburg in the Department of Protestant Theology. His academic work primarily focuses on the history of Christianity, historical theology, especially during the Reformation and Early Modern periods. Steiger began his career as an assistant in Practical Theology at Heidelberg and completed his doctorate at the same institution.
