Dr. Johanna Beckmann is a Research Fellow at Monash University, focusing on the impact of climate change on polar regions and its implications for global climate patterns. Currently, at Monash University, she is expanding her research interests to the effects of climate variability on the Antarctic ice sheet, collaborating with Felicity McCormack and Andrew Mackintosh using the ISSM model to examine the consequences of climate variability. Dr. Beckmann is also interested in supervising honours students who wish to investigate the impacts of southern ocean variability on Antarctic mass loss.
