Johanna Carroll is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto. She serves as the Director of the MHSc Medical Genomics program and is dedicated to the teaching and development of genomic methods for understanding, diagnosing, and treating diseases. Johanna is passionate about helping students explore and pursue their professional interests to find fulfilling careers after graduation. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA from Hamilton College.
