Biography

Dr. Choremis has extensive experience in intraocular procedures and has conducted numerous research projects in the field of refractive surgery, presenting at prestigious ophthalmic conferences in the United States. She is currently an associate professor at both McGill University and the Université de Montréal, where she teaches ophthalmology residents and medical students, and also provides training to clinical fellows. Dr. Choremis completed her doctorate in medicine at McGill University, supported by a Hugh Brock scholarship, and subsequently specialized in ophthalmology at the same institution. Her post-doctoral fellowship was completed at Tufts University in Boston, where she learned state-of-the-art techniques in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery. She is a member of the RRSV - Research Network in Vision Health and is affiliated with the CIUSSS de l'Est-de-l'Île-de-Montréal - Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont.
