Biography

John E. Core is a Professor of Accounting at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His broad research interests include executive compensation, executive stock option incentives, corporate governance, nonprofit governance, and the cost of capital associated with disclosure. His work was highlighted in discussions at the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance, emphasizing the significance of contextual elements in corporate governance decision-making.
