Dr. John Curtin

Biography

John Curtin is a Senior Lecturer in Functional Genomics at the University of Manchester, where he has been a notable contributor since 2006. His research primarily investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying the heritability of asthma, focusing on epigenetic and genetic factors. A co-investigator on the Manchester Asthma Allergy Study (MAAS), Curtin's work is vital in understanding complex chronic disorders from an early life stage through a population-based approach and careful longitudinal phenotyping.
