Dr. John Dzienkowski

Biography

John S. Dzienkowski is a Professor at the University of Texas School of Law, specializing in professional responsibility, real property, international energy transactions, and oil and gas taxation. He is widely regarded for his dynamic and effective speaking style, having delivered numerous presentations on professional responsibility to corporate departments and law firms, and has participated in continuing legal education programs and law faculties across the country. Dzienkowski co-chaired the bi-annual UT Program on Oil and Gas Taxation, which was co-sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service. He co-founded the Legal Ethics Forum, a leading blog addressing issues related to legal ethics, with John Steele and Bradley Wendel. He has received the Texas Exes Faculty Teaching Award for excellence in teaching and served on the drafting committee for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination. Dzienkowski earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and has taught at various prestigious institutions, including Tulane, George Washington University, Cornell, and the University of Florida.
