Biography

John Fuller, graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1987 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He completed neurosurgical training at Prince of Wales Hospital and Sydney Children's Hospital, obtaining a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Neurosurgery in 1996. He has practiced in Canberra, specializing in neuro-oncology, and has been a pivotal figure in the field, becoming the founding member of Macquarie Neurosurgery. He also holds the position of Neurosurgical Director for the Gamma Knife Surgery Program at Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney. Dr. Fuller has played significant roles in neurosurgical education, including a position on the Board of Neurosurgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia. He is currently appointed as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University and has prominently presented at various medical conferences, including as Co-Chairman of the 16th Leksell Gamma Knife Society Meeting in Sydney in 2012.
