Biography

John Galeotti is a Senior Systems Scientist at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where he directs the Biomedical Image Guidance Laboratory. He teaches a highly regarded graduate course on medical image analysis algorithms, showcasing his expertise in the field. With a PhD in Robotics and advanced degrees in computer engineering, his work emphasizes the intersection of science and medicine, focusing on the development of novel real-time computer-controlled optics and image analysis techniques for biomedical applications.
