Biography

John Gershenson is a Research Professor at Penn State University. He has a B.A. in Physics from Cornell University, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University, and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho. His research interests encompass product and process architecture, lean and sustainable design manufacturing, and appropriate technologies, resulting in over 75 peer-reviewed publications.
