Biography

Dr. Hubbard currently serves as co-course director for the Medical Gross Anatomy course and is actively involved in teaching the Histology and Neuroanatomy content curriculum. He is responsible for maintaining the anatomical science facilities, including the Gross Anatomy Laboratory and the Willed Body Program. Additionally, Dr. Hubbard participates in planning and developing curricular content at Texas A&M University Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine, integrating basic science content with clinical sciences and planning active learning sessions. He is the elected chairperson of the Anatomical Board of the State of Texas, overseeing activities related to gross anatomy facilities and the Willed Body Programs statewide. Furthermore, he supervises the Gross Anatomy rotation for the Orthopedic Residency program at Baylor Scott White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Dr. Hubbard has completed competency programs to teach Team-Based Learning, the Team STEPPS training program, as well as the Train the Trainer program, and is involved in planning and implementing interprofessional education activities.
