Biography

John Mailey is an Assistant Professor at Michigan State University College of Nursing, having joined the faculty in 2018. Mailey has been recognized with several awards, including the Crain’s Detroit Business Quality Award. He is a third-generation nurse with a family legacy in nursing education and practice, completing his terminal degree in honor of his late mother. In his personal life, he enjoys biking, painting, listening to vinyl records, exercising, and traveling.
