Biography

Professor John O’Brien leads the Old Age Psychiatry Research Group at the University of Cambridge's Department of Psychiatry. His research focuses on the study of dementia, particularly Lewy body dementia. He employs various methodologies to enhance the diagnosis and management of these disorders. He actively collaborates with national and international groups through frameworks such as the Dementias Platform UK, the NIHR Dementia Translational Research Collaboration, and the European DLB Group and International DLB Consortium.
