Biography

John D. Sullivan is an expert in health care policy, finance, and asset valuation. Before joining Boston University, he worked at Fresenius Medical Care, where he completed acquisitions of hundreds of health care companies with an estimated total value of $5 billion. In 2008, he co-founded Reliant Renal Care, which focused on private equity funding and provided strategic guidance to some of the largest health care organizations in the United States. Currently, he teaches courses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, investments, and financial markets and institutions in the School of Law at Boston University.
