Biography

Dr. Yuen has published over 80 research papers in top-tier conferences and journals in the areas of cryptography and cybersecurity, including CRYPTO, EUROCRYPT, CCS, SP, and USENIX. A recent highlight of his research includes efficient threshold ECDSA signature sharing, which enables secure digital wallet management and delegated signing authority for custodians. Dr. Yuen joined Monash University after serving as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong and has four years of industrial experience as a member of the Cryptography Expert Group at Huawei's Singapore Research Centre. He has also invented over 10 patents and obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Wollongong in 2010.
