Jolle Demmers is a Full Professor of Conflict Studies at Utrecht University, involved in the History International Relations section of the Department of History and Art History. He holds visiting associate professorship positions at the University of California, Berkeley, and has co-produced various cross-disciplinary projects that intersect art, politics, and war. Jolle has recently served as the Head of the Department of History and Art History and is an active member of the Dutch Advisory Council on International Affairs and other academic boards related to peace and conflict studies.
