Biography

Jon Silbernagel has extensive experience in the field of exercise therapy and strength conditioning. He began his academic journey at the University of Regina in 1999, eventually pursuing a Master of Science where he studied the effects of exercise and timing intervals on individuals with heart failure. His professional career has evolved from working at the Dr. Paul Schwann Centre in the Cardiac Rehabilitation program to becoming the Head Strength Conditioning Coach for the University of Regina Rams. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Silbernagel has worked with various varsity sports teams, including men's hockey and basketball, and women's basketball and hockey since 2019. He currently oversees 11 graduate students and interns while managing varsity sport programming, demonstrating his commitment to advancing athletic training and rehabilitation techniques.
