Biography

Jonadab dos Santos Silva is a physician researcher with a background in neurology and neuroimaging. He graduated with a Medical degree from Fluminense Federal University in Brazil and attended the University of California, Los Angeles for an exchange program. He is currently completing his PhD in Neurology at Universidade Federal Fluminense and has previously worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His primary research interests include the interplay between brain lesions and clinical cognitive manifestations, especially in multiple sclerosis. His work employs techniques such as ultra-high-field MRI, structural and functional MRI, and EEG to study cerebral processes related to disease progression and cognitive function. Jonadab aims to bridge research with clinical practice to enhance diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for patients with neurological conditions.
