Biography

Jonas Schreyögg is a Professor of Health Care Management at the University of Hamburg, where he has held a chair since 2010. He serves as the Scientific Director of the Hamburg Center for Health Economics (HCHE) and is the deputy chairman of the German Council of Economic Experts, contributing significantly to assessments of health care and nursing. Schreyögg is an associated researcher at Stanford University and has previously held a professorship in Business Administration, specializing in Health Services Management, at Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. His academic career includes a junior professorship at the Technical University of Berlin, where he completed his habilitation in 2008. Schreyögg was also a Harkness Fellow at Stanford University and worked as a research assistant at TU Berlin, completing his doctorate during this time. He has received various prizes and research grants, including a doctoral scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation. His research and teaching experiences extend to countries such as Norway, Singapore, Taiwan, and the USA.
