Dr. Jonathan Aronson

Biography

Jonathan Aronson is a professor of communication at USC Annenberg, with a focus on international communication and international relations. His research centers on international policy regulation issues, including governance, disruption innovation, and trade negotiations. He has published several influential books, such as 'Digital DNA: Disruption Challenges Global Governance' (Oxford University Press, 2017) and 'Transforming Global Information Communication Markets: Political Economy Innovation' (MIT Press, 2009), both co-authored with Peter Cowhey. Aronson has held leadership roles, including director of the School of International Relations and past president of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs. He has been a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and served on the board of directors of the Social Science Research Council. His expertise spans various areas, including arts culture, business, global dynamics, and technology innovation. He received his PhD from Stanford University and an honorary doctorate from St. Petersburg State University in Russia.
