Jonathan has been the UK Principal Investigator for the Mexico City Prospective Study since 2013, where he and his research team investigate both genetic and non-genetic factors contributing to premature morbidity and mortality in a cohort of 150,000 Mexican adults. Prior to joining the Clinical Trials Service Unit in 2004, he earned a BA in Mathematics and an MSc in Applied Statistics from the University of Oxford and obtained his PhD in Epidemiology from University College London, with prior experience in clinical trials epidemiology at the University of Sydney and University College London.
