Biography

Jonathan Fogelson is a multidisciplinary design planning practitioner and educator at the University of Pennsylvania, where he serves as a Lecturer in the Department of City and Regional Planning. He has extensive experience in urban design and has been teaching at the School of Design since 2008. Fogelson has also contributed as a partner at Singer Studio, practicing in both Wilmington, Vermont, and Delray Beach, Florida, where he has been involved in significant projects since 2005. He held various roles, including Associate and freelance designer at Michael Singer Studio, prior to establishing Singer Studio. Furthermore, Fogelson is a Trustee at the Conway School of Landscape Design and is actively involved with the Bermil Foundation, which is in the process of being renamed as the Michael Singer Foundation. His educational background includes a Master of Architecture and a Master of City Planning, along with an Urban Design Certificate from the Rhode Island School of Design, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design.
