Biography

Jonathan Gammell is an Assistant Professor at Queen's University in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and a member of the Ingenuity Labs Research Institute. He has collaborated with industry and academia, including NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Oxford, as well as with orthopaedic surgeons. Jonathan has received several accolades, including the CIPPRS award for the top Canadian PhD thesis in medical imaging and robotics, and has been part of teams that received the NASA Group Achievement Award. His research outputs are published in top-tier journals and presented at international robotic conferences, and he is known for giving invited talks across various academic and industrial settings.
