Biography

Jonathan Greenland is a Radiation Oncologist and Clinical Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland. He graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1995 with an M.D. and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences. Dr. Greenland completed his Radiation Oncology residency at the London Regional Cancer Centre in London, Ontario, in June 2000. He was awarded the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certificate in Radiation Oncology (FRCPC) in June 2001. His main areas of practice include thoracic and hematological cancers. Dr. Greenland currently chairs Eastern Health’s Thoracic Diagnostic Triage Panel, where he is responsible for navigating new patients through the lung cancer initial diagnosis and workup process, ensuring they receive appropriate treatment from providers. He has also been an early adopter of Tele-Medicine Oncology and has played a significant role in expanding this program to its current level.
