Dr. Jonathan Ida

Biography

Dr. Jonathan B. Ida is an Associate Professor at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine specializing in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. His focus areas include pediatric airway evaluation and management, subglottic stenosis, airway reconstruction, pediatric voice disorders surgery, and pediatric stroboscopy. His clinical interests also encompass laryngology, bronchoesophagology, pediatric hoarseness, vocal cord paralysis, respiratory papillomatosis, and vocal cord nodules. Dr. Ida completed his undergraduate education with both a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona in 1999, followed by his MD and MA from Case Western Reserve University in 2004, and an MBA from National Louis University in 2020. He furthered his training with a general surgery internship and an otolaryngology residency at Tulane University Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Ida is a board-certified otolaryngologist and has been actively involved in professional societies, including the American College of Surgeons and the Triological Society.
