Professor Dr. Jonathan Jeschke

Biography

Jonathan Jeschke is a Professor at the Institute of Biology at Freie Universität Berlin, focusing on Ecological Novelty. He has been a faculty member since 2014 and has actively contributed to multiple research initiatives and departments. Prior to his current position, he worked at the Technical University of Munich as a research associate and has held postdoctoral positions at the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies and the University of Helsinki. His research interests include theoretical ecology, invasion biology, evolutionary ecology, predator-prey relationships, biodiversity research, and urban ecology. Jeschke has led significant efforts in educating undergraduate and graduate students through lectures and seminars.
