Biography

Jonathan M. Karpoff is the Washington Mutual Endowed Chair at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington, where he has been a faculty member since 1983. He holds a PhD and an MA from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a BA from the University of Alaska. His research interests lie in business valuation, corporate finance, corporate governance, and corporate crime punishment.
