Jonathan Knowles is a Professor specializing in Biomaterials Science at University College London. His research focuses on degradable materials for hard and soft tissue regeneration, contributing significantly to the fields of Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. With a career that began in the late 1980s, Knowles has held multiple academic positions, including positions as a Reader in Biomaterials and a Visiting Professor at Dankook University. His extensive experience in both teaching and research at the Eastman Dental Institute highlights his expertise and commitment to advancing the field of biomaterials. He has also earned various degrees, including a Doctorate in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Science with Honours, both from Staffordshire University, and a Diploma from Universita degli Studi di Siena.
