Dr. Jonathan Levine

Biography

Jonathan Levine is the J.N. Allison Professor of Environmental Studies and a Professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University. He serves as the Chair of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and is a member of the Leadership Team for the Carbon Mitigation Initiative. His research focuses on understanding biodiversity and how biological invasions impact ecological responses to climate change. Through his work, Levine has significantly contributed to the field of ecology by studying the dynamics of invasive species and the responses of ecosystems to changing climates.
