Biography

Jonathan Marotta is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Manitoba, where he also serves as the Lab Director of the Perception and Action Lab. Dr. Marotta earned his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Western Ontario in 1998, where he was mentored by Dr. M.A. Goodale. Prior to his current position, Dr. Marotta completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Dr. M. Behrmann’s lab at Carnegie Mellon University’s Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition. He is also recognized for his work on visuomotor control, perception, and neuropsychology, and has successfully trained many graduate students in these areas.
