Biography

Dr. Jonathan Said is a Professor and Chief of the Division of Anatomic Pathology in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. His research focuses on the pathologic basis of neoplastic disease, exploring the use of tumor markers to characterize neoplastic proliferations. He also investigates cyclin gene expression and their effects on cellular processes in prostate and breast cancer models, alongside the evaluation of viruses, particularly focusing on Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus in neoplastic diseases.
