Dr. Jonathan Styles

Biography

Jonathan Styles is a Senior Lecturer in Enterprise at the Manchester Enterprise Centre, part of the Alliance Business School at the University of Manchester. He earned a Bachelor of Science with honors in Zoology from the University of Aberdeen, followed by a Master of Science in Applied Entomology from Imperial College London. After nine years of engaging in biological research at Imperial College, he transitioned into entrepreneurship and start-ups. In 2004, Styles completed his Master of Business Administration specializing in Entrepreneurship at the University of Gloucester. Subsequently, he was invited to take part in a two-year Enterprise Fellowship at the Manchester Science Enterprise Centre, which later evolved into the Manchester Enterprise Centre. He became a Lecturer in Enterprise in 2006 and was appointed Programme Director of the Master of Enterprise (MEnt) in 2010, which is the flagship master's program offered by the MEC. Styles has comprehensive teaching expertise across enterprise and entrepreneurship, contributing to the creation and development of various enterprise modules taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels throughout the University.
