Biography

Jonathan joined the University of Southampton in July 2024 as a Lecturer in Gravity, focusing on gravitational wave research. Prior to that, he worked as a postdoctoral research scholar at Cardiff University and Caltech. His research emphasis is on the modeling and analysis of gravitational waves produced by the merging of black holes and neutron stars. He is involved in multiple research projects, including the DISCARD Feasibility Study and the STFC Consolidated Grant 2024, where he collaborates with other researchers in the field. Jonathan also enjoys teaching various modules related to physics and mathematics, and currently teaches a module specifically on gravitational waves.
