Biography

Jonathan H. Valente, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in emergency medicine and pediatric emergency medicine. He has been practicing since 2001 at Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children's Hospital. Dr. Valente completed his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1996 and subsequently underwent residency training in emergency medicine at North Shore University Hospital, affiliated with New York University School of Medicine. He furthered his expertise through a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Jacobi Medical Center, associated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He actively contributes to national committees, specifically within the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), serving on both the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Committee and the ACEP Clinical Policies Committee.
