Biography

Jonathan Yeow is a Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and an Honorary Research Associate in the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London. He received Class Honours in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Sydney, where he also majored in Chemistry. Jonathan completed his doctoral studies in the lab of Professor Cyrille Boyer at UNSW in the Department of Chemical Engineering, graduating in 2017. He has undertaken postdoctoral training at Harvard University in Dr. Juan Pérez-Mercader's lab as part of the Origins Life Initiative and commenced a Marie-Curie fellowship in Professor Molly Stevens' lab at Imperial College London in 2019. Jonathan's research primarily focuses on interface chemical biomedical engineering, with particular interests in polymer design, synthesis, and self-assembly. His current research applies synthetically-derived polymers for therapeutic applications in nanomedicine and drug delivery.
