Jong-Shi Pang, elected member of the National Academy of Engineering in February 2021, has been serving as the Epstein Family Chair and Distinguished Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California since August 2013. Prior to this, he was the Caterpillar Professor and Head of the Department of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2007 to 2013.
