Dr. Joo Hyung Lee

Biography

Joo Hyung Lee is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Odette School of Business, University of Windsor. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Calgary in 2018, specializing in Accounting. Prior to this, he obtained two Master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas, one in Accounting and the other in Finance. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dongguk University in Seoul, South Korea, in 2007. His research interests include cost behavior, information asymmetry, and slack resource management. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Accounting Association (AAA), the Canadian Academic Accounting Association (CAAA), and the European Accounting Association (EAA), since 2017.
