Biography

Jordan Buchko is an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan, specializing in arthroscopy and sports medicine. His expertise focuses on shoulder, hip, and knee injuries. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Regina, he earned his medical degree and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Saskatchewan. He furthered his training with a one-year Reconstructive Arthroscopy Fellowship at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Buchko began his surgical practice in Regina in 2015 and has since been heavily involved in sports medicine, serving as the team orthopedic surgeon for both the Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL) and the Regina Thunder (CJFL). He is recognized for his commitment to education and has received several awards for his teaching effectiveness. Aside from his professional duties, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, proudly calling Saskatchewan home.
